My kids absolutely love this and it’s super easy for them to use on their own, 6 yr old & 9 yr old. It works great and they can have hours of fun safely without burning themselves on the tip! Charges in a few hours so highly recommend putting it on the charger overnight.

The 3Doodler Start+ Essentials has been such a fantastic creative and educational tool for my son. It’s easy to use and really encourages STEM learning and artistic expression. My daughter bought this for Christmas and loved it. 3 months later it is already broken and no longer works.Contacted Manufacturer and they sent us a new pen, so We are happy with our overall experience

I got this for my kids as a random Christmas present no one asked for but I thought they might enjoy. No one liked it, my kids (ages 11, 8, and 7) all tried it and weren’t impressed or thought it was too hard to make stuff with. It got put away and forgotten about for the next 5 months. Then out of nowhere my 11 year old got it out to repair a broken hair claw clip she had and all three of my kids took turns using it to add onto other items and became obsessed with it. Now I’m having to buy replacement “ink” sticks because they had so much fun. While there is a learning curve, it’s worth it to find a way to create that works for them because my kids played with it for hours over several days. A great creative outlet for kids that doesn’t involve a screen and lets them use creative problem solving. My 7 year old made a mech suit for a peanut.

Works as it should. Pretty cool to play around with. My kids struggled some with it, so there is a bit of a learning curve. It’s high quality and has a nice design. Fits good in small hands.

It is easy to use for kids and the filament comes out warm enough to slightly mold if they make a mistake, but not so warm that it could hurt them if they put it directly into their hands. The only problem I have with it is the limited options for refills. Only this company's refills fit it, and it's not easy to buy by the color you want. You pretty much have to get 5 pieces of more than 20 colors, so if you want to use a lot of one color you have to buy a ton of packs.

This thing is so cool. My granddaughter has been wanting one for a while, so I finally broke down and got her one just because. She loves it and I love it. It is so cool, and it is nice that it doesn't get too hot to touch like the previous one that I purchased without reading reviews. She is 6 and this is perfect for her!!!

My 9 year old son loves making creations with this. I was more impressed with the customer service. Ours stopped working a month or so after he started using it. I contacted the company and they sent a new pen immediately. I sent the one that wasn't working back to them and they took a look at it and provided us feedback and instructions on why it stopped working so we wouldn't make the same mistake with the new one. Can't find much good customer service anymore and I was pleasantly surprised with this company.
