After looking online and in stores for a while for a good color depositing product, I settled on this during Prime Day. I have tried other color glosses/masks before with mixed results. Yes, they deposited color, but it looked like it just coated the hair or sat on top instead of actually refreshing my color. For reference, I dye my hair a level 8 auburn and chose the natural looking "caramel glaze" color instead of the copper or auburn, which looked too orange and too dark for me.I tried this color mask with a little tweaking: After shampooing my hair twice to make sure it was really clean, I squeezed out the water and instead of applying the color mask directly to my hair, I diluted it (1:1 ratio) with my regular conditioner in my palms and mixed it together. This was my first time using it and it does stain my hands a little, so I wasn't sure how strong the color would be, so I chose to dilute it. I applied root to ends for 5-6 minutes while finishing the rest of my shower, then thoroughly rinsed out. Make sure to wash your neck and back afterward or it will leave a film.I wrapped my hair in an old, white tshirt and it left some light staining but not as bad as some other color glosses I've tried. I applied my products and styled my hair as usual. The results are amazing - shiny, vibrant, natural but noticeably better! A coworker complimented my hair today and said it was really shiny and looked like it had natural golden threads/highlights throughout.I will try this full strength in the future, but I'm honestly very happy with the results using the diluted method, plus it will make the tube go twice as far. This will be a weekly routine for me to keep my color shiny and healthy. Highly recommend!

This stuff is a miracle! It turned my salt and pepper hair,which I do like, to a beautiful brown with the white showing up as dark blonde highlights. It looks like the color I paid hundreds of dollars to achieve. It fades naturally with no line!!! If you like the color, just refresh once a week and it stays. Otherwise, mine fades in a couple of weeks. No commitment. Its a win for me!

I discovered Wella Golden Gloss after a stylist lightened my hair WAY more than I asked for. I used this gloss according to package instructions for 10 minutes a few days after the salon, and it turned my hair from a white, almost platinum bleach blonde in streaks to the more natural golden, honey blonde I was hoping for. It was easy to use (even for someone who has never experimented with hair color at home before) and I love that the ingredients are clean and gentle, especially after bleach at the salon a few days prior. I feel like my hair is moisturized and curls are bouncy and happy after this treatment. (Photos taken in same spot the day before gloss and day after.)

The color is beautiful but it isn’t the most nourishing color depositing conditioner I’ve had. If it left my hair a little softer it would get 5 stars. Also there is mica in it so use gloves or your hands will be sparkly and brown. Prep like you would for semi permanent color.I had bleached, pink hair and I used color remove w 20 volume. And it was so damaged I didn’t want to risk using boxed or permanent color on it so I went with this for a more natural look. It’s been a few weeks and it’s even fading nicely to this caramel brown. I do think it’s pricey for it being a normal size bottle at $26 but I do know Wella is a professional brand. I will share pictures of my hair before, after and how it is faded nicely.Also I do swim so this is fading with being outside in the summer time and in the pool a couple times a week.

Review for Peach Blush. So, the color on the tube is quite different from what's in product card -- it has much less red tones, I'd call it a very basic orange, like natural ginger hair color. A very tame shade, suitable for any career and whatever. The stuff inside the tube is exactly the same color as on the tube. If you dyed your hair before, you might have noticed that the dye often looks much more intense than your final color, so when I saw how pale that was, I had no more illusions. And indeed the result was very barely (if at all) visible on my level 8-9 pre-lightened hair (I kept the mask for 20-ish minutes). But the smell is lovely.

I had my hair professionally done, but going back to the salon for a gloss every 6 weeks is not my style, but neither is having brassy, yellow hair. This product allows me to have my hair color look better for a longer amount of time. It smells really nice too. It was super easy to use. I just put on gloves and let it sit in my hair for 10 minutes prior to showering and then washed it all out and went about my normal routine. Extremely satisfying! Glad I went with this color. I was a bit nervous it would be too dark but it’s perfect for what I wanted, so I hope the pictures help you gauge if it’s right for you too. Very happy with this product and will absolutely be purchasing again!

Wish I had taken pictures, but .... I needed a quick fix and didn't have time to re-dye my hair. I have average thickness, longer hair. I used about a1/3 of the bottle, mostly across the crown and sides where it tends to brass-out in the summer the quickest. Left it on for 10 minutes and rinsed. This did a fantastic job of darkening my hair to the point of looking like I had redyed my hair. First time using this product, so unsure of how long it will last, but this is definitely worth the money for a quick refresher.
