Absolutely fantastic. Accurate readings and ease of syncing the data with a phone makes it the perfect choice. Both WiFi and Bluetooth functions work fine. I love the fact that you can track the temperature and actually plot it over months and years. You can also export a .csv which is super useful.

Still working great since 2022! I'm a diabetic and use a mini fridge to keep my insulin safe and ready when needed. Also keep some snacks and orange juice for critical lows. Purchased this temp & humidity sensor in 2022 and it's still working great in 2025! Visibility is really good due to it being an e-ink display. The battery life is awesome. A lot of temp sensors batteries don't last long in a cold environment, but this is the exception. I changed batteries in it approximately every 8 to 12 months. It uses the AA batteries. I'm currently trying out Eneloop rechargeables. Also, I have it connected to Home Assistant via MQTT, to monitor temperature and send an alert if the temperature gets too high. The Govee app is nice and does offer great data. This sensor is definitely accurate, as I've compared it to another of a different brand along with my thermostat. I can definitely recommend this if you're looking for something that's well built, easy to read, offers great battery life and is accurate.

Easy setup! I used it in my lab to monitor temperature for my fruitflies, pretty accurate, i have a traditional thermometer, temperate measures are comparable.

The Govee worked awesome. We have it in our RV, and whenever we go anywhere, our little cat stays inside with the generator & A/C running. Wherever we go we know her exact temperature and humidity level. The WiFi on it works exceptionally well and we had absolutely NO problems. It even went flying a few times while we were driving, flew everywhere knocking out the batteries. Once we stopped we loaded the batteries back in, reset it, and it kept right in going. GREAT DEVICE. NO PROBLEMS. A great price.

I've had this thermometer for months and I don't think it's ever shown a correct temperature. When it's 68 degrees it'll read 75, when it's 90 it'll show 72. It's all over the place. The temperature alerts have also never worked for me which is really important for making sure my dog doesn't overheat, but I can't trust the temp to be correct anyway so I never leave my dog alone. The battery indicator also usually reads as full or mostly full and then just suddenly dies with no low battery warning. The only other little nitpick I have is that there's a smiley/frowny face indicator that's never consistent with the conditions - for example, it could be 70 degrees and 40% humidity and it still shows a frowny face. Not sure what the purpose of the indicator is but it's definitely not conveying what it's supposed to. Mine is probably defective and I'm sure Govee's other products are fine but I can't recommend this thermometer as it is.

I have 2 of these devices and they are pretty much keeping the same temperatures. I also have a thermostat and a smart little thing motion sensor that’s been working for several years. They are in the same room and they all are showing the same numbers so I’m trusting them all to be accurate. I will be placing one in the rabbits room to keep track of the temperature. It only shows humidity on Alexa but when I asked Alexa what’s the temperature it told me. If only it could be set to turn on a fan, heater or ac when the temperature reaches a specific temp it would be possible priced right. But it’s not set up to work with Alexa in that way. Alexa needs to support these features it’s almost 2025

In terms of connectivity it was great, just what I needed to watch the overnight temps in the sunroom for the plants, very easy connection with Alexa.Unfortunately, the display no longer works, it’s frozen on one set of readings. It won’t reset, and removing batteries does nothing.Unfortunate.EDIT: I was contacted by Govee the manufacturer after the above review. Despite being out of the return window, they sent a new unit immediately, which was unexpected and for which I’m grateful - given the defect was the reason for the initial review, I’ve now changed it.
