I am an RN who has used many, as well as made my own ice packs. Recently sustained a knee injury and ordered this Vive ice pack/wrap. It is wonderful! Just put it in freezer, or put the 3 artic-flex ice packs in freezer. Wrap it around your knee, right or left, and it feels so good. You can walk around with it on and it stays in place- unlike others that roll down or don't stay cold. This one is soft, flexible, and can be worn under clothes on skin, or over yoga pants. The velcro straps are stretchy and long enough to wrap around a larger thigh for hamstring area or swollen knee area or calf area. I like the compression that I can control depending on level of swelling or soreness I have. It is made well and I would definitely recommend this for cold therapy- oh and it can also be used for heat therapy! Excellent quality and value for the money. I will be purchasing more to be given as gifts!

Excellent product. Very happy with this purchase. Supporting painful, injured knee for fit adult. Able to ice comfortably throughout the day and refreezes well between uses.

Purchased the 2-pack and have been using them for about a week as general relief after the day. I'm a big guy, and these fit my legs just fine. Hook and loop (Velcro) hold is excellent, and appears to be pretty durable. Was nice to be able to use our HSA to purchase these.I've only used them with frozen packs, and they get cold enough that I feel relief even through sweat pants for at least the recommended 20 minutes of application. I'd recommend adding a kitchen towel or something of similar thickness under them until they warm up a bit.I keep them in the freezer fully assembled, but the nice part about the removable packs is I can still get them in the freezer if I need the space, and if they ever wear out and leak, I can make new ones with custom FoodSaver bags and the rubbing alcohol/water mix you can find online.

Easy to put on and adjustable for comfort and effectiveness.

My wife recently had a full knee replacement, the hospital gave us a nice ice pack that last up to 4 hours, with one refill pack, but didn't wrap completely around (top/bottom), so we needed extra ice packs. I ordered 2 sets of these, and she really likes them. They cover the knee and also under the knee, they last about 2 hours of staying cold. They're easy to put on, but if the ice packs are frozen, they are a little struggle to put into the sleave, but once in place, they work very well. If you've had or getting ready to have knee surgery, I recommend getting these, at least 2 or ordering extra gel packs because you're going to need to ice the knee as much as possible.

I just had knee surgery and I was tired of all those inefficient ice bags. No more frozen vegetables or hospital ice packs.Why cheap out when you got only so much time left before you go to go back to work. If your goal is to recover fast, then I suggest you get it.Build quality and engineering seems well planned. It's got velcro loving fabric everywhere, so you can't miss a spot to apply the straps. So you can make it tight or loose very easily.So far after using this product, doing lots of exercise and using a TENS UNIT, I have seen my swelling go down. I have had a reduction in pain as well. The goal is to use the ice pack to reduce swelling after focused exercising. This should help you in recovery.At the end of the day it does it's job well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I absolutely LOVE this knee brace/icing thingy! It fits even when my knee is swelled up! I have a torn Meniscus and it really hates me sometimes.
