Works great for making yogurt!
I began making the L. Reuteri cultured milk and using this Inulin. I began to branch out and make other yogurts as well and it works great with every batch I have made so far and I use my box dehydrator and have made up to 2 gallons worth at a time. I’m making lots of yogurt. I bought a strainer to remove the whey and I can’t keep us in yogurt!

Works well but a bit pricy compared to potato starch.

Incorrect calorie count
This lists 187 calories per scoop and the included scoop is tiny, like 1/8 teaspoon!!! Seems impossible as most inulin powder is a couple calories per gram!!! But I’m taking this to support weight loss so I’m changing my subscription!!!Untrue information!!!

Tastes sweet
I consume a fair amount of inulin due to its sweet flavor and fiber content. While inulin powder can become extremely sticky, it mixes quite well when added to liquids. I typically use several tablespoons in my kefir and yogurt to promote fermentation. Additionally, I often mix it with psyllium husks and water for a high-fiber snack. Sometimes, I also add ground flax seed or chia seeds to this mix.I find that these types of snacks are quick, delicious, and beneficial for the microbiome, especially when paired with the aforementioned probiotics. They effectively curb my appetite as well. However, it's important to take it easy because it's easy to consume too much fiber when using inulin.

Suspicious Source
I am reviewing the VELOTO Organic Inulin Powder.I use inulin powder in my baking to increase the fiber content and I grow Jerusalem artichokes/sunchokes in my garden. This product tastes the same as what I am accustomed to. Inulin is a good prebiotic. The label is a bit confusing and I suspect a misprint. According to the supplement facts, one scoop of this contains 3 grams of inulin. That 3 grams of inulin powder contains 3 grams of carbohydrates (inulin is 100% carbohydrate in fiber form). Those 3 grams somehow manage to pack in a whopping 91.3 grams of dietary fiber. This is impossible.I am concerned about this brand. It is yet another brand that carries an address for the same leased business office in Sheridan, WY, that matches the address for a registered agent. The application for the trademark VELOTO was made in July 2023. The owner of the trademark is an individual in Wuhan City, HuBei China. This product carries the USDA Organic label. However, Veloto is not listed in the USDA Organic Integrity Database. No organizations in Sheridan, WY are listed in the database.
