Silicone Case Compatible with Yoto Mini Player, with Shoulder Strap

We have the official Yoto mini cover but I felt the need to get a different one because my son kept dropping the mini on the concrete ground and the official cover doesn’t cover the bottom of the player. Also the strap that comes with the official one doesn’t do anything other than make it more likely to for the player to slip out of my child’s hand and hit the ground. He also kept misplacing it on the shelf in the grocery store or the museum when he’s distracted.I love this one because it covers the bottom and he can carry it around his body. We have a family trip coming up soon and I feel better about letting him carry the Yoto mini in the airport without breaking it or losing it.

Overall I like this case, love that my kid can hang it on his neck and listen to stuff. The way the lanyard is held in isn’t very sturdy since it’s basically wedged in underneath the yoto.

This case is well made and cute. It’s also a bit smoother finish than the Yoto brand cases which is a nice upgrade. The strap is nice for carrying around the house when the kid’s on the move.

I purchased this case instead of the Yoto brand adventure jacket because I wanted my toddler to be able to use his Yoto player hands-free. I think he'll be annoyed by having something on his wrist. But there are two problems with this design.1) the way you put the case on requires you to wrap a black strap around the player and then the silicone sleeve fits over. You then have to nudge the black strap out of place to access the power button, the charging port and the headphone input. It's not a big problem but it's just an odd design that with a little more thought could have been avoided.2) When the player is hanging from the strap it's right side up with the card facing up. But if you grab the player to change the volume or look at the screen or skip a track, it's upside down. This probably wouldn't be a problem with an older kid, but if you want your child to be able to play with it independently this would cause confusion. Imagine having a strap on your phone that's attached at the top, every time you go to grab it you have to turn it right side up and deal with straps in the way. Again, an odd design choice that could have been avoided with more thought.

Brilliant case, fits very well

Yoto box is secure and the strap is great for my toddler to bring his music wherever he goes. Only downfall is the black strap that goes around the yoto box was annoying when putting it together.

It looked nice but the strap broke within a few days of using it. I had to return it.
