Should have bought one sooner! Great to still have internet in temporary power outages.
I have this connected to my fiber optic modem and internet router. I tested it and had both of them running for over an hour and didn't even get to the point where it was running low on power. You also can turn off the beeping if you use the cable that comes in the package so at least you can use your phone to surf the internet. I even bought one for an LED TV so I can watch TV as modern TVs don't just that much power. I should have bought one sooner.Just be aware that some outlets on the unit are only 'surge protected' and some allow for them to be powered. This is nice so you can exclude other devices from using power in an outage that don't need them. All outlets on it though do power from surges which is great.

Real life test was successful. I’ll be getting a couple more!
The electricity went out very briefly a moment ago. It’s the first chance I’ve had to see if it does work. And it absolutely does. I have a Mac Mini M4, 6 external desktop drives, and a monitor on the UPS side of the device. When the electricity failed, the unit gave a single beep, alerting me and giving me time to turn on the monitor and begin shutting down. Luckily it all came back on before that was necessary. But it would absolutely would have allowed for that much time. It’s affordable and well made by a solid company! I’m going to get a couple more for another cluster of computers.

Works with Synology NAS
The media could not be loaded. Works with Synology NAS. I have two Synology NAS devices and I connected this via USB to the primary one. I set it up as a USB UPS and it was recognized correctly. I then enabled the Network UPS Server and it was seen by the secondary NAS as well. I couldn't have asked for a more seamless installation. It is showing 100% charged and an estimated 29 minutes of backup time.Physical info for the UPS. It has nice compact size, it has an access panel on the bottom for replacement of the battery, and it has 4 battery backed up ports and 4 surge protected ports. As always, the orientation of the plugs will never be exactly what you want them to be. Search for "Power Brick Extender" and you will get packs of short extension cords. Don't search for "Short Extension Cord" I didn't get as many results. <sigh>I replaced my antique power strip that is probably yellow from overheating with the new backup. I'm ready for Summer Thunderstorms!! Oh, The Amazon Basics UPS is made by CyberPower, however, I got this one because it comes with a 3-YEAR WARRANTY – INCLUDING THE BATTERY; $100,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee, the Amazon Basics does not.

Low power rating
Excellent product, keeps my electronics running through power surges and outages! I've noticed though that it does not like when I run two consoles at once, guessing it can't handle the power load. I was playing on my Xbox one and had to boot up my PS5 real quick, and the UPS started making these long beeps, different than the noise it makes when it loses power. I lost my guide though so I'm assuming it's letting me know I'm using more power than it can handle? It stopped after I shut my PS5 off.

Cyberpower UPS
I ordered this unit to protect my bedroom TV and cable box. I live in Florida and this time of year it close to hurricane season. I wanted to protect my investments from power surges and power outages. I highly recommend this product to do that!!!

Worth the price
Power loss and surges, I use on the desktop computer and living room TV. The price is reasonable and there is no setup. Just plug into an electrical outlet and then plug the computer, TV, etc. into the four-battery supported and surge protected outlets. The other four outlets are only surge protected. Standard charge time is eight hours for the battery to be fully operational. Can watch TV or use the computer until the battery is drained if you choose to do so. Works well and have been using for many, many years.
