I'll be giving this product a 5 star right now because I've only been using it 2x a day consistently for about 4 days and I do feel I've made some progress. I have this ugly little red acne scar from a pimple I picked at badly about two months ago. I bought this product because I saw it had a few active ingredients that do help with discoloration and it was cheap. It goes on pretty thick so you really have to rub it in to prevent a white cast but once you do it doesn't feel sticky at all it actually makes my skin feel supple. I will say I had acne on my chin and a bad wax rash under my jawline and this product cleared it up in a day. Back to the scar, I do feel it's lightened BUT I also dermaplane it and use a BHA toner to exfoliate before using the Palmer's. I do not dermaplane the scar every day maybe like 1-2x a week lightly. I will add an update once I've used this product for at least 2 weeks consistently, but so far I'm liking it. Fingers crossed it helps.

I only had this delivered 2 days ago. We are our own worst critics so like most people I am self conscious about certain aspects of my body.I decided to try this product because it has so many good reviews and is quite reasonably priced.I have several scars on my hands from sutures after a bad fall about a year ago. I also have a permanent bruise on one hand.I decided to start using this product on my hands before trying it on some age spots that are starting to appear on my face. That way if I was sensitive to the product at least it wouldn’t be a reaction on my face.I can honestly say that I see a difference in the scars on my hands in just 2 days of use. I can’t even see where the sutures were and the permanent bruise is fading away.I put it on at night when I won’t be washing it offIt does have a faint fragrance but it is not too strong.I’m quite happy with my results.

So it’s been a week and I actually see a difference , obviously I been using an exfoliating glove as well as a body scrub to help the process , but yes this does work !

I’ve tried many expensive products for a dark spot on my cheek. I’ve had this spot for about 20 years. I’ve used this twice a day religiously and after a month the spot has faded from a light brown to pink!!I’m so happy!! I’m hoping that after another month the spot will be goneThe cream is not sticky or greasy at all and it’s nice and thick. My skin feels soft and hydrated.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great scent. I had to dab it on, it’s rather thick so rubbing it into my skin proved difficult. I also found after a short time using it that it made my face terribly itchy. Perhaps a slight allergic reaction.

This product absolutely works! I got some sun spots on my hand from tanning and was pretty saddened by it. I saw some reviews on this product and decided to give it a shot. I kept the lotion on my desk to use every day during work. Within a week there was a noticeable difference. Consistency is key. Keep applying religiously and you will see a difference!

I got this for my baby girl for eczema marks on her skin and it works really well. Highly absorbent, its rich but not sticky, it’s very light on the skin, it has a nice subtle aroma and leaves your skin moisturized.

I have very sensitive skin, but after seeing so many positive reviews. I decided to try Palmer’s Dark Spot. I regret it completely.I did not do a patch test (which was my mistake), and instead applied directly to my face were dark spot are located. Within a minute, my skin became extremely inflamed and hot to the touch. Later in the day, it was so itchy and uncomfortable that I had to take Zyrtec just to calm the reaction. I spent the rest of the day applying ice packs to relieve the burning and redness.Even after 24 hours, my face was still red, blotchy, and painfully dry. This product caused one of the worst reactions I’ve ever experienced.I would never recommend this to anyone with sensitive or reactive skin. The only reason I purchased it was because I was influenced by social media reviews claiming it was gentle and effective. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all. I wanted to give it a chance, but never again. I’m very disappointed
