Pleasantly surprised.
I am pleasantly surprised about this little plant. Delivery was unfortunate because they put it in my mailbox. Seller did not mark it as plant material. So the little plant got quite baked in its box. Once I unpacked it I did exactly what the little packing slip says. I placed it in indirect light by the window for a couple days. Not I am gradually expanding it to more light. Within days it already grew a couple tiny leaves.I had read the reviews and thought I’ll give it a chance. I usually have a green thumb.Plant would have been happier had it not been shoved into the mailbox. It was quite limp looking at first but if you follow the instructions as described it will pop up.Update 7/6/25: my little plant keeps happily growing. I would not call it a fast growing plant but by now it has an extra two leaves. Our weather has been cooler than usually so I repotted it into a larger pot with more soil. I keep it outdoors in full sun during the day but still take it in at night. It would probably be fine outside but I don’t want to take any chance, considering it’s still quite small. I think I will raise it inside the house during the fall and winter until it’s significantly bigger and then transplant it outdoors next year. I did not have any issues raising this little plant. Sure loves heat and water

Sturdy with pretty, shiny leaves - but where to put it?
The plant was packaged very well but it was teeny tiny with only 2 leaves on it. Much smaller than I expected for the price but within the 3 - 8" description. I put it in a fairly large pot outdoors (Zone 9a) in a sunny spot and it is growing nicely. While searching for a permanent location, I watched videos on YT which said not to plant it in the ground because it's fast-growing and the roots are invasive - so much so that it might run invisibly into the neighbor's yard. Since that had been my intention and I had already prepped a fence for it to run on, I've had to re-group. I have a left-over tall black plastic pot about 24" in diameter and it already has holes near the bottom but not on the bottom to let the water out but not the roots. (Well, if the roots grow out of the sides, I can see them and cut them before they invade the neighbors yard.) I will have to buy posts to stick in the ground and chicken wire to wrap around the pot and poles to make a tall vertical cylindrical fence instead of a traditional close to the ground long fence. More money. But so far, it's alive and thriving, spread out on the lawn about 18-20 inches long after 2 months or so. I water it every day. So far no flowers but I'm keeping hope alive.

Arrived well- No paperwork accompanied the plant
The passion vine order arrived today. It appears to be healthy and is a larger size, which is nice. I had ordered from this company once before, 2 years ago. The purple passion that arrived two years ago was smaller, but came with a paper listing the full name, genus and species. And also came with instructions of what to do; cover it from direct sun for two weeks etc. I live in Arizona, so not covering this little thing from the sun during the initial plantation could be matter of life and death for this tiny plant. I would have also like to be assured by some sort of documentation that this is the fruiting purple passion vine, which was not also mentioned, since there was no paper accompanying the plant in the packaging.I am planting this in good faith, since the last plant I purchased from this company turned out great, and gave delicious fruit and beautiful flowers but I would be upset if after nursing this for months, it either turns out to be a different species of passion vine or just ornamental.

No paperwork came with plant.. no planting instructions
Update: Changing my review to one star because the seller replied to my question and said that instructions came with the plant. This is not true, no instructions were included. It would be more helpful if the seller provided instructions rather than claiming something that is not true. Maybe they need to improve quality control in their shipping department. The plant arrived today and it looks OK but there were no planting instructions or any documentation included. I see others have noted the same issue. Can you help me? Do I need to transplant, water etc. immediately or should I wait?

Too tiny and not very strong
It has roots, but I ‘m not sure if it will survive. I heard that the passion fruit is very easy to survive from cuttings. $20 is way tooooo expensive for a tiny sapling.

Arrived healthy
The plant arrived on time in a flat box. When I opened it I was pleasently surprised to see I was given an extra plant. Both were in excellent condition and I immediately planted them in a pot. It’s up to me now to keep them alive. Looking forward to getting these climbing and producing fruit.

This poor sad passion fruit...
This poor, sad little plant. Arrived looking a bit sickly with browning edges on the leaves and appeared to have been half-eaten by something. Gave it some time to adjust and then planted it outdoors in a good spot with a mix of potting soil and organic compost in the ground. Weeks later it's barely alive, though everything else I planted nearby is thriving. Most of its leaves fell off or seem to be completely skeletonized and it hasn't grown much from its original size as far as I can tell. Seems like it's on its way out, though I can't call it dead quite yet. Passiflora usually grows like a weed in my yard, so I'm a little sad for this one. Gave 2 stars instead of one because, well, it wasn't DOA I guess? Definitely gonna stick with buying from the local nursery for next time.
