PS5 Cooling Fans, PlayStation 5 Cooling Fan Compatible with PS5 Discs Edition and Digital Edition (NOT for PS5 Slim/PS5 Pro)

I didn't realize just how fast our PS5 and get hot. We got these fans for the back of it and a stand that also has fans below. These are a lifesaver. Tight fit, which is good, durable, great airflow, and they glow they create is so pretty at night. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to help keep their PS5 cool.

Fit perfectly, can't even tell it's back there. Definitely helps keep the temp down on long sessions.

Looks great. Works well. My only issue is it turns on randomly by itself even when my PS isn’t on. Not the worst problem….but annoying to come into my gaming room and see the fans spinning for no reason. Especially when I turn it off then come back in an hour later to see it’s on again. I keep it plugged in though, so simply unplugging it when not in use would solve that issue. I do like there is a button to many turn it on and off (even though it doesn’t stay off for me) Good enough! 4 stars.

So it does as intended it helps move the hot air out at a faster pace. I don't have any fancy thermal sensor but going by touch alone after playing my game for a few hours there has been a difference. But I do wish I found the 4 fan version because it helps with the area it's clipped at by lower by the power inlet and hdmi port it still feels relatively hot (nmstill not as hot) I saw the 4 fan but it was for slim and I have the bulky disc edition.Now I did see some people say they felt no difference and I just want to remind people to remember to clean the dust put of your system. I have cats so I bought a few types of filters to help guard from it but fine dust will still make it's recommend.It does plug into the system itself. Although it blocks both usb ports it has one on the back, so essentially it's no different than usually one usb port. I do worry about the accumulation of power being drawn from this port though so to play it safe ill charge my controller separately by other means.With that I definitely recommmend.

Became unbearably noisy after just a couple days. Customer service told me to add pads. So basically they wanted me to fix their poor design. The light also requires a physical push of the button which doesn't prevent the ps5 from turning it back on even in rest mode.Performance wise, there was no change in temperature. I measured in multiple locations both before and after using it. Test were after playing a power hungry game for an hour and measuring the temps on the surface and on the ports in the back. No change with the fans.The problem is that these fans aren't located at the hottest part of the playstation. That is at the bottom section (if vertical) near the power cable and ports.Even if the fans were quiet, they just don't do what they claim to justify keeping them on.The best way to keep your PS5 cool is to just do regular cleaning by removing the panels. These fans are snake oil.

Started great, easy to install and helps cooling 2 months later the middle fan is loud. Had to flick it to quiet it down. Now about 4months it's loud all the time.
