Haribo Maoam Kracher -200 g Bag

My absolute favorite candy. The texture is fantastic and it’s chewy and sweet with a little bit of sour totally worth the price.

Was stationed in Germany a while ago. Lemmed tell ya, Haribo is partially responsible for me having to work out extra to pass my danged fitness tests. Too much fittin' 'is candy in my mouth.While tons of Haribo stuff is available retail here in the states, these Krachers (likely spelled wrong) and MaoMix are my absolute favorites.Hard to describe this particular candy. The hard shell gives it a bite, a "krach," if you will. Inside...is...is...what? Not gummi, but chewy? It's not taffy. It's kinda like an Airhead stick, but firmer. Man, I dunno, but I love the danged things.Price is a bit high, which is fair, they aren't gonna be found at your local convenience store or Wally World, like you can find at every Edeka in Germany. To me, the treat is worth it.So, that's my review and I'm sticking to it. 5 stars for one of my favorite chewy candies all-time.Hope this review helps you decide how to treat your sweet tooth. Yum! These are amazing. So soft, chewy and flavorful! Almost like a fruit flavored marshmallow, but better!Other reviews stated that theirs arrived smashed, but I didn't experience that. Mine were great.

Okay, I'm a sucker for candy. And if it's chewy and a little sour or tart, bring it on. Sour Patch Kids are my JAM!! Sour Swimmers from Trader Joes! YES!! So, when, late at night when I'm at my insomniacical (is that a word?) weakest, some Instagram lady sneaks on to my feed. I didn't know where the heck she came from, the clever you-know-what! And she starts yapping about these candies and how she can't get enough. And what's more, while she was yapping she was stuffing the darn things into her pie-hole. People, these little sugar bombs ain't tiny and this made it quite difficult to understand what the heck Candy Lady was saying. But you got the gist, she was positively addicted to these Haribo Maoam thingies. I wanted to be addicted too. I did. C'mon. Don't judge. It was 1:30 in the am and I was on Ambien. I clicked to link and I was on my way to happiness.Anticipation leads to heartbreak and despair my fine friends. The Maoam is not only difficult to type it is difficult to chew and the flavors can only be described as . . . confusing. So tread lightly here if you wish to have a new and exotic candy adventure and only purchase the smallest size at first. I fear that this confection is an acquired taste that The Square-Up Reviewer has not acquired.

The majority of the candy in both bags I ordered was squished.

I have purchased these before from a different seller and they were great and thats what made me want to buy more. This bag was the opposite, most of the candies were smashed like something heavy was placed on them, because of my prior experience I can say that the candies in this bag had a staleness to them in the way that they were way harder to chew than the others I had. I will have to go with a different seller because I still want the candies.

Kinda tasted like how I imagine a fruity candle would taste, but I loved the texture. Hard on the outside and chewy on the inside like Skittles. The best flavor for me personally was the light pink flavor. It reminded me of strawberry Mentos IYKYK those are the BEST. I don't think I'd buy these again, unless they make a bag of just the light pink ones, but I do think they're worth trying!

When we were in Sweden in 2019 we tried this candy…it’s like a starburst and a jelly bean in one. Fruity flavors and a cola flavor too. We aren’t usually gummy candy fans, but these were sooo good! I bought a few bags to bring home and was so sad when we ran out! I looked everywhere to find something like it, and then AMAZON to the rescue!! Now I don’t have to fly to Europe or beg friends who go to bring me my fix! They are the best!
