Prefer this over the MX Mechanical Mini
Preface on my keyboard preferences: my absolute all-time favorite keyboards are Logitech T and X series laptop keyboards- but I spend most of my time on Macs and do love a good mechanical keyboard. So far my favorite is surprisingly a wired Hyper X Alloy Origins 60 with Aqua Tactile switches (and I've tried browns, blues, and reds from Cherry MX, Gateron, and others too).I was in the market for a wireless mechanical keyboard for convenient switching between a few different devices, and after reading a ton of reviews from users and tech bloggers I bit the bullet and ordered the more expensive MX Mechanical Mini because it seemed like that was the superior keyboard. People complained about mushiness and inferior quality on the Keychron K3 (and I already tried a K2 so I was familiar with Keychron materials, construction, etc.) But I didn't love the MX Mechanical. The key spacing felt a little too wide and the pressure required to push the keys was a little too heavy. The auto-activated light (always activating a little later than I'd like) was also distracting. Then on Cyber Monday the price of the K3 dropped to less than half of the MX Mechanical Mini- and I ordered one with Gateron mechanical brown switches on the hunch that the hot-swappable keys might be the cause of some reported mushiness. I liked it right out of the box. The key spacing was tighter, the sound was totally fine (didn't sound "cheap" or too loud), and the key feel was just a little more satisfying. I also haven't noticed any problem with the battery life. I'm 4 days in and have yet to charge it.I definitely recommend this keyboard with the only stipulation that I know the K3 Pro is right around the corner and it looks like there are some nice improvements. But if you can get this on sale it is one satisfying value!

I love this keyboard
I love this keyboard for work use. For reference my primary "keeb" has been a Royal Kludge 65% with brown switches for the last couple of years, using it for both gaming and work. I find the low profile keys much more comfortable and less fatiguing over the course of the day. The keyboard feels solid, the Bluetooth/wired switch works well. I have it wired to my work PC and paired to my phone (handy for typing longer texts) so I switch back and forth several times throughout the day with no issues. There is an adjustment period moving to the low-profile switches. It took me a couple of hours of use to really re-train myself to not press down so much.I started going into the office recently and wanted this to replace my standard issue keyboard at work. I did use it for a few hours of gaming before bringing it into the office but not long enough to be sure if I like over a full-travel switch for gaming (I didn't mind it in the time I used it though). That's the only reason I gave it four stars for gaming. I have considered getting the same keyboard for at home so that I'm not going between full travel and low-profile switches between work and home.

Great For Portability
I work from home mostly. My employer has a hoteling setup at the office (no one has assigned desks) and there are no keyboards at the desks so I need to bring my own when I go in (I hate laptop keyboards and touchpads). This keyboard is a great portable option due to it's size. Instead of buying a case, I just kept the box it came it. It fits easily in my commuter bag. I've never owned a mechanical keyboard before, but the keys feel very responsive. Definitely an upgrade to any other keyboard. I miss the number pad, but for portable use, I can do with out it. The sound of the keys are not too loud so it won't disturb an office environment. I also purchased the larger version of this keyboard (with a number pad) for home use which is what I will use about 90% of the time. I personally would not use this keyboard as my primary as I use the number pad often. If space is an issue, or you want to be super minimalist....go for it.
