Hand protection:these are as good as any leather work gloves as far as protection goes.They give excellent grip and don’t fall off of your hands. These fit exactly how you’d expect a pair of these gloves to fit. Squeeze your hands in a little but there’s a little breathing room for your fingers. No cuts or thorns getting through. They grip everything with ease. Makes me wanna ditch my nitrile dipped gloves. The tightening strap works as it should although you’ll likely not need it if you ordered the right size. I will buy these again at the same price I paid or cheaper. Probably would pay more if I could help it.

Wonderful gloves, soft leather, plus reinforced palm. Service prompt and considerate. I would make a suggestion, don't staple the product. There is the potential of tearing the gloves as you try to open the staple.

These gloves are a good buy for the money. They are really comfortable once broken in and gives you good hand protection. I use them at work and they have lasted longer than other gloves i have purchased

I usually do not write reviews of my purchase but felt the need to leave one for these gloves. They are not "Thorn Proof" but rather more Thorn Resistant. I used these to trim down a few bougainvillea bushes and had some thorns poke through. However it was not as frequent or as bad as it would have been had I used traditional gloves. Also if you sweat or get them wet expect some transfer staining. My hands had a slight yellowish stain after eachuse, resembles kind of a self tanner kind of stain but goes away after a few hand washes. Overall a great pair of gloves to tackle heavy duty yard work.

Great leather work gloves and does not stain your hands like inferior leather gloves have. Hold up well and so far no holes at my finger tips. Extra padding where it is needed.

Just received these gloves today. They are great and comfortable to wear. I purchased them to use them when mowing the yard as well as digging in the flowerbeds. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Good gloves. Purchase them mainly to handle cactus so far no thorns on hands. But be careful the thorns will stick to the gloves. The draw string helps to keep things outside the gloves

Wells Lamont makes the best work gloves. My last pair lasted for years.
